Seminars are conducted
nationwide by a class being purchased
for In-Service Training or by Co-Sponsorship with an agency.
In-service
Training:
Your department purchases one
of our training courses to be brought to your department for the
purpose of conducting in-service training. The class then becomes
yours and your department will furnish the training facility,
audio/visual equipment (LCD projector and screen), print course
workbook, provide course completion certificates; handle any state
process for training credits and the registration of students. In
return your department may place as many personnel in the class as
you wish. If you desire, the class may be marketed to outside
agencies. Bringing training classes to your door step for in-service
is the best expenditure of your training dollars because it allows you
to train many more of your personnel at a very reasonable cost.
Co-Sponsored
Training:
Your department and Dodson
Training Resources will partner up to bring quality training to your
department. We will provide the instructor, including handling all
travel expenses, print all course workbooks, provide computer
equipment needed for instructional purposes, handle the printing and
mailing of course brochures and all student registrations. In return
your agency receives free training slots and agrees to furnish a
training facility for 25 + participants, coffee, audio/visual
equipment (LCD projector and screen) and in some cases may be asked to
process state training credits and assist with course completion
certificates. Your department would also be asked to assist in
marketing the class by sending out training notices by teletype, fax
and internet while networking with other agencies by telephone or in
person. An enrollment criteria of 15 paying participants will need
to be met in order for a training class to be held and in return your
department will receive 3 free training slots. For a total 20 paying
participants, your department will receive a total of 5 free training
slots.
Cancellation Policy for Co-Sponsored Seminars:
Registrants who are unable to attend may transfer their registration
to another location or to another person in the same organization.
Cancellations are preferred to be in writing and within three (3)
working days for in-state training and five (5) working days for out
of state training before the date of the scheduled seminar. However,
we will objectively consider any request that is based upon an
operational/personal necessity that does not meet this timeline.
Dodson Training reserves the right to cancel a program if enrollment
criteria are not met or conditions beyond our control prevail. If a
program is canceled for any reason, Dodson Training Resources, Inc.
liability is limited to the refund of program fee only. |
